Sister is an independent bakehouse in Eastbourne, Wellington. Specialising in artisan sourdough bread, each loaf is crafted over two days entirely by hand. The foundation of each loaf is flour, water, salt and time. Stretching out the fermentation results in a complex, tastier loaf that is gentle on our digestive system.
We LOVE our core products immensely but we are always acting on impulse and releasing fun specials — watch this space. There are no secrets here. We’re just adapting ancient bread making methods, taming that wild yeast, taking our time and ending up with tasty baked goods. Flour, water, salt, time.
Absolutely no preservatives or additives. Each product is mixed and shaped entirely by hand. Our products are developed in response to the seasons and supply. Most products contain gluten and are not suitable for celiacs.
